Dunlea Products is a true Kaikoura success story, due in no small part to the manufacture of its well-known Mudgway boat trailers, a business which has grown from 350 units a year to more than 1000 in just five years.

Dunlea Products purchased the Christchurch-based Mudgway trailer business in 1999 and relocated the operation to its base in Kaikoura.
Ross and Jill Dunlea love the Kaikoura lifestyle and already had a thriving business in the town that focused on general engineering and a retail outlet selling general engineering supplies, chainsaw and lawn mower sales and service and a hydraulic hose doctor service.
